Use AI to extract candidate fields, then validate types, business rules, and uncertain values before they enter core records.

  • document automation
  • intelligent document processing
  • AI data extraction
  • human validation

Start with a narrow document type

Choose a frequent document with a manageable set of fields and known exceptions. Define acceptable formats and what should happen when a required field is absent.

AI & Automation

Thoughtful decisions compound over time.

Practical product work brings technical choices back to the people and workflows they are meant to serve.

Validate the result deterministically

Check dates, totals, identifiers, and relationships with ordinary application rules. Keep the original source and extracted values available to a reviewer when confidence or validation is insufficient.

Measure effort saved and errors introduced

Track processing time, correction rate, and downstream exceptions rather than counting documents alone. A pilot can establish whether automation improves the real end-to-end process.

Practical application

For invoices, extract supplier, date, reference, tax, and total as candidate values. Validate totals against line items and tax rules, keep page-level source references, and send mismatches to an accounts reviewer rather than posting them automatically.
